Experiencing God's Grace Expounding God's Word Expanding God's Kingdom
What We Believe
Good News!! Christian Fellowship Church is a non-denominational Church welcoming all who desire to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is God’s holy and inspired Word and our beliefs are interpreted to be in harmony with the Holy Scriptures. The following are a summary of our positions related to the doctrines of the Christian faith.
WE BELIEVE:

THE GODHEAD – We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - and that these three are one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19)
THE BIBLE – We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the verbal, inspired Word of God, authoritative, and without error in the original manuscripts. We further believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are designed for our practical instruction in faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3: 16-17; II Peter 1:21)

MAN AND SIN – We believe that man was directly created by God in His own image, holy and upright; that through the historical fall into sin, man came under God’s condemnation, and that in consequence the whole human race is born into this world with a sinful nature. We further believe that without God’s provision for salvation in His Son, Jesus Christ, no one can enter the Kingdom of God, that no degree of reformation, no educational attainment, no cultural or benevolent achievement, no religious ordinance can help a sinner toward the Kingdom. (Genesis 2:7, Genesis 1:26, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:1, Romans 3:10-12, John 3:18, John 3:5, Isaiah 64:6, Matthew 19:14)
JESUS CHRIST – We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, came into the world that He might manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy, and become the Redeemer of a lost world. To this end, He was born of the Virgin Mary, received a human body and a sinless human nature without ceasing to be God. (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:1, 14, 18; Hebrews 4:15, Philippians 2:5-11) We believe that, in His infinite love for the lost, Jesus voluntarily accepted His Father’s will and became the divinely provided sacrificial Lamb and took away the sins of the world for all who place their faith in His provision. (Romans 3:25-36; II Corinthians 5:15; Hebrews 10:5-14)
SALVATION – We believe that no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless born again spiritually, and that the new birth of the believer comes only through faith in the Lord Jesus, the Son of God. We believe, also, that our redemption has been accomplished by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this redemption is by the grace of God, an unmerited gift, given in love by God and not the result of any human works. (John 3:7-18; II Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:13; Romans 4:4-5; Ephesians 2:8-10) We believe that upon receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, the believer passes immediately out of spiritual death into spiritual life, and into fellowship with God. (John 1:12, 5:24)
SANCTIFICATION – We believe that sanctification is the ongoing process of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God. The Scriptures teach a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command: “Be ye holy, for I am Holy.” Therefore, we espouse the belief in the pursuit of holiness. (Romans 12:1, 2, I Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14, Hebrews 13:12, I Peter 1:5, 15, 16, Romans 6:1-11, 13, Galatians 2:20, Philippians 2:12, 13)
THE HOLY SPIRIT - We believe that the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, dwells in every believer immediately after he or she sincerely places their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and God provides, through the Holy Spirit, power to live the Christian life. (Romans 5:5, 8:9-1, Galatians 5:16-25)
DIVINE HEALING – We believe in divine healing as in the atonement. (Matthew 8:16, 17, Isaiah 53:4,5, Romans 8:26-28, James 5:14-16, I Peter 2:24, Psalms 107:20)
THE CHURCH – We believe that all who are united to the risen and ascended Son of God are members of the universal Church, which is the Body of Christ. (I Corinthians 12:12-27; Acts 2:42-47) We believe that local churches, such as Good News!! Christian Fellowship Church gather together for practical instruction in the Scriptures, for fellowship with God and other believers, and for corporate witness to the unsaved world, our common spiritual goal is to grow toward Christ's likeness. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:5; Ephesians 4:13-16)
ORDINANCES – All ordinances of the church shall be administered by the senior pastor and/or other qualified members of the clergy.
-
WATER BAPTISM – All who unite with the church on profession of faith in Christ shall receive water baptism as early as possible. Baptism shall be administered according to the divine command of our blessed Lord, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Spirit)”. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38)

-
THE SUPPER OF THE LORD – The Supper of the Lord is a sacrament of our redemption by Christ’s death. It points to the salvific work of Jesus on Calvary’s Cross and His shed blood which cleanses us from all sin and prepares us for the indwelling presence of His precious Holy Spirit. (Matthew 26:17-30; I Corinthians 11:23-30; Acts 1:4).
SATAN AND DEMONS – We believe that Satan, the devil, is the prince of demons and is the declared adversary of God and man. However, when the Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He limited the power of the devil and guaranteed the ultimate triumph of God and all persons who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. (Ephesians 2:2; I Peter 4:8; Revelations 12:10-11, 20:10; Colossians 2:13 15)

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST – We believe that a future period of great tribulation on the earth will be climaxed by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth as He went in person in the clouds with power and great glory to establish His millennial kingdom. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will return in the air to receive to Himself into Heaven both His own who are alive and remain until His coming also all who have died in Christ (I Thessalonians 4:13-17; Zechariah 14:4-11; Revelations 3:10)
ETERNAL STATE OF BELIEVERS AND UNBELIEVERS – We believe that at death the spirits and soul of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation pass immediately into His presence and there remain until the resurrection of the glorified body when Christ comes for His own, whereupon soul and body reunited shall be associated with Him forever in glory. All those who rejected Jesus Christ will be eternally separated from God to endure His wrath forever. (II Corinthians 5:8; Revelations 20:11-15, 21:1-27)
MANKIND AND MARRIAGE – We believe that God created mankind in His image: male (man) and female (woman), sexually and biologically different, but with equal personal dignity. God’s word clearly states His design and intent for man. It is inconsistent with God’s design for a follower of Christ to in any way practice a contrary lifestyle or physically seek to change, alter, or disagree with their obvious biological sex which has been assigned by God. We believe those who may have practiced such lifestyles in the past and wish to abstain from such practices in the future have equal access to God’s Grace which empowers all Believers to overcome all sexual sins (Genesis 1:26-28, Romans 1:26-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11). We believe that marriage is a union ordained by God and intended as a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:18, Matthew 19:4-9, Mark 10:5-9, Ephesians 5:31-33).
CHRISTIAN LIFE; SCRIPTURAL CONDUCT - We believe that all believers should seek to walk by the Spirit, separating themselves from worldly practices, and witnessing by life and by the Word to the truths of the Holy Scriptures. (Romans 12; Galatians 5:16, 25; II Corinthians 59-17) We believe that all believers will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ and rewarded based on their faithful obedience to Him in this life. (I Corinthians 3:10-17)
